Job Summary:

Catholic Diocese of Arlington is seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Spanish Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for students in grades 5th through 8th.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Spanish language curriculum for students in grades 5th through 8th.
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide language programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in language education and incorporate innovative approaches into the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Spanish language and culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching Spanish language to students in grades 5th through 8th.
  • Knowledge of language acquisition theories and best practices.
  • Fluency in Spanish language.
