We are seeking a skilled Yamaha Outboard Service Specialist to join our team at PARKER YACHT MANAGEMENT. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in outboard motor diagnostics and repairs, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertly mount and rig a variety of leading outboard brands.
- Diagnose and execute repairs on all Yamaha outboard models, including both conventional and D.E.C engines.
- Utilize advanced computer diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Install and maintain 12v DC systems within vessels.
- Oversee the installation and repair of hydraulic steering systems for outboards.
- Maintain a comprehensive set of tools necessary for the trade (specialty tools will be provided by the company).
- Hold Yamaha Master Technician certifications with a minimum of three years of experience.
- Operate forklifts and complete necessary training.
- Engage in ongoing education and training to enhance technical skills.
- Manage inventory related to job responsibilities efficiently.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment on a daily basis.
- Provide mentorship and training to apprentices in the field.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
- Paid holidays following a trial period.
- Vacation time available after one year of continuous service.

- Regular performance reviews to assess growth and development.
Work Schedule:
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. Optional Saturday work may be available.
