Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides programs and services that are designed to help them unlock their potential and lead fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Implement behavior management plans and support individuals in developing coping strategies
  • Facilitate skill-building activities, including social skills, communication, and life skills training
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress, incidents, and daily activities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Social Work preferred
  • Experience working with IDD, mental health, and/or dually diagnosed populations preferred
  • Must be able to complete a two-week new hire orientation class and work at least one weekend day
  • Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings and have a valid driver's license
