About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team at gategroup. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Investigate and document all accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring gategroup remains compliant.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in safety and compliance, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, as well as other relevant industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends, with a focus on improving safety and compliance outcomes.
