Job Title: Regional Director of Childcare Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Childcare Operations to join our team at Healthy Kids Programs. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our Before/After School Programs in Baltimore County.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of Before/After School and Summer Camp Programs, with a focus on recruiting, supervising, and developing a highly qualified staff.
  • Ensure compliance with New Jersey State Daycare, Before/After school and/or Summer Camp Regulations.
  • Develop and implement programs that follow Healthy Kids Best Practices and Curriculum.
  • Lead in a positive, upbeat, yet confident style, with an emphasis on effective communication and addressing issues head-on.
  • Monitor and address performance issues in a timely manner, ensuring personnel understand areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Senior Regional and Executive Directors to continuously improve programs and operations.
  • Communicate effectively with area coordinators, site directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage payroll and other expenses efficiently.
  • Work closely with Registration staff to ensure all students have completed necessary paperwork.
  • Partner with Marketing to obtain program information and materials for website and social media.
  • Maintain good working relationships with site hosts, including school principals, administrators, and custodial staff.
  • Grow your region and implement new programs as they become available.
  • Liaise with other departments, senior management, and parents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience, with 1 year in a child care setting and business management experience preferred.
  • Superior administrative and supervisory skills, with experience in a consumer-driven environment.
  • Excellent customer service and parent communication skills.
  • Track record of working as a team and creating a team-oriented work environment.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent programs and managing personnel expenses.
  • Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checking.
  • Must be medically fit to perform job duties.
  • Professional, reliable, and prompt, with a warm, friendly, caring, and upbeat personality.
  • Excellent time management skills.
