Imerys S.A. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation and rebuilding of machinery and equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and modifications to plant machinery and equipment as required
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of worn parts
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspections as outlined by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs, including assembling and disassembling equipment, inspecting mechanical parts, and replacing defective parts
  • Support spare parts and equipment inventory management
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Imerys S.A. standards
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years of experience in industrial maintenance and repairs
  • Welding certification or experience required
  • Rigging and equipment handling experience preferred
Work Environment:

The Maintenance Mechanic will work in a fast-paced industrial environment, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, and high noise levels. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
