About the Role:

The Mental Health Associate will be responsible for facilitating activity groups in an inpatient program. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health principles and the ability to work with patients in a supportive and non-judgmental manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living
  • Conduct rounds and provide emotional support to patients
  • Record accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Assist in code responses and secure patients' belongings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, or related field preferred or a Bachelor's degree with one year of relevant work experience interacting with patients and the community
  • 2 Years work experience in field of Mental Health
  • Current BLS certification or successful completion of required training to attain certification within three months of the start date
