It is a dynamic position that requires ongoing interaction with both colleagues and patients.

This is a full-time position eligible for benefits, operating Monday through Friday. Work hours may vary, and the candidate will be required to register patients for mobile healthcare services on-site.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Primary Duties:

    • Welcome patients upon arrival, consistently reflecting the organization's commitment to exceptional customer service.

    • Schedule and manage patient appointments, confirming details and informing patients of necessary documentation (such as co-pays and previous balances).

    • Perform data entry tasks within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

    • Complete financial documentation, ensuring all required forms are accurately filled out.

    • Verify insurance and demographic details at each visit, updating records as needed.

    • Collect co-pays when applicable.

    • Answer phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.

    • Direct calls and messages to the appropriate staff members.

    • Monitor the waiting area to maintain appointment schedules.

    • Review the provider's schedule daily for any updates.

    • Receive daily reports for information regarding patients with upcoming appointments.

    • Balance daily transactions and submit collected funds to the Office Supervisor or Regional Office Manager, as required.

    • Distribute daily mail.

    • Ensure the waiting area is tidy and organized.

    • Travel to various clinic locations as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintain regular attendance, with flexibility to adjust hours as needed for clinic operations.

• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Adhere to the employee manual and conduct oneself professionally.

• Participate in all required training sessions as mandated by the organization, accreditors, and funding sources.

• Stay informed about updates and changes related to insurance policies and communicate relevant information to the Office Supervisor.

• Report any changes or updates obtained through other channels to the Office Supervisor.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
