The Engineering Supervisor plays a crucial role at Hilton Hotels & Resorts, where we are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Our property is strategically located, providing easy access to various attractions and amenities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, assisting guests with inquiries and resolving any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance program for guest accommodations and operational facilities.
  • Support departmental leadership while guiding engineering staff in their daily tasks.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the engineering department and across other departments, including Front Office, Security, Sales, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage.
  • Ensure safe practices by utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhering to all relevant safety regulations.
  • Conduct general repairs and maintenance for all equipment within the hotel premises.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong mathematical skills related to construction and building maintenance.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to estimate project costs related to HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with operating machinery such as drill presses, power saws, and basic plumbing tools.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver weights of 50 lbs or more.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school education is a plus.
  • Certifications in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience managing a team of 3 or more.
  • At least 3 years of experience in engineering roles within the hospitality industry preferred.
