Educational Background


• A minimum of a High School Diploma or General Education Diploma; a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree from an accredited technical institution is preferred. Relevant college experience or equivalent certifications will be advantageous.

Knowledge Requirements


• Ability to interpret 2D schematics


• Proficient in understanding specifications and job documentation


• Familiarity with ISO, API, and other relevant manufacturing standards and regulations


• Experience with Mazak Integrex mill-turn centers and Mazatrol programming is highly desirable


• Must possess experience in mill-turn and 5-axis machining.


• Capable of validating EIA programs and knowledgeable in G-code.


• Understanding of safety and quality protocols within the manufacturing environment.


• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.


• Familiarity with E2 systems is a plus.

Professional Experience


• A minimum of 10 years in machining technology


• Experience in producing long, thin-walled tubular components, ideally within the oil and gas sector


• Demonstrated ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality standards are met.

Skill Set


• Execute CNC setups and production runs as per assigned job documentation on mills, lathes, and mill-turn centers


• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure deliverables meet accuracy standards


• Expertise in tuning, milling, threading, and grooving operations


• Adhere to operational and safety protocols, actively participating in safety initiatives and risk mitigation strategies


• Maintain compliance with required procedures and documentation standards


• Conduct routine maintenance on machining equipment


• Clean and deburr components as necessary


• Uphold cleanliness and maintenance of tools and workspace


• Engage in 5S practices and other assigned duties


• Mentor junior staff members.

Training Objectives

Upon successful completion of this training program, participants will be equipped to:
