Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at BBQ Holdings. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the quality of menu items according to our recipes and specifications.

  • Timeliness: Ensure your station is ready to work at the scheduled time and you are in proper uniform.
  • Pace: Maintain a brisk and steady pace, organized, and avoid unnecessary steps.
  • Recipe Adherence: Demonstrate 100% recipe knowledge when prepping or assisting with other production steps.
  • Portioning: Use scales, measuring spoons, recipe cards, and perform portion control tests.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain the kitchen and its equipment to a 'like new' condition, practicing clean-as-you-go.
  • Productivity: Your productivity is measured by the quality and quantity of work completed within a specific time period.
  • Organization: Develop and maintain a system for organizing and tracking inventory, supplies, and tasks.
  • Teamwork: Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all OSHA guidelines.
  • Food Handling: Demonstrate safe food handling practices and procedures.
  • Receiving, Rotating, and Stocking: Receive, rotate, and stock food items according to established procedures.
  • Prep Support: Provide support to other team members as needed.

Qualifications: 2 years of work or related experience preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays. Anticipated Pay Rate: $16
