The Nurse Specialist at Tufts Medical Center is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Surgery ICU (CSICU). This role requires a professional and compassionate individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs in accordance with physician orders.
- Provide professional nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or license eligible.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- Specialty Nursing certifications a plus.
