Vascular Technologist Opportunity at Sturdy Memorial Hospital

In this role, you will perform a variety of non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations under the guidance of a physician at a reputable healthcare institution. Your expertise in vascular technology must adhere to industry standards and operate within legal frameworks.
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Vascular Technologist
  • Skilled in executing all vascular modalities, demonstrating manual dexterity, physical stamina, visual acuity, and strong communication abilities.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written English
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational capabilities

Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

Educational Background:

  • Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program with a focus on vascular technology or equivalent hands-on training.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Registered RVT (ARDMS) or CRV (CARDUP - Canadian equivalent)
  • Current CPR certification

Age-Specific Competence: Ability to effectively engage with individuals across all age demographics served by the facility.

Job Performance Expectations: Ability to execute job responsibilities without compromising health and safety, with or without reasonable accommodations.
