Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Providence Centralia Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, communicating with radiologists and other physicians, patients, and their families, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures, including setting up, scanning, and filming
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, patients, and their families
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of a radiographic program approved by the JCERT, American Registry of Radiological Technologists, or American College of Radiology
  • Current Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure
  • Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Within 1 year of hire, National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or National Certified MRI Technologist certification from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in diagnostic x-ray
  • Hospital experience
  • 2 years of sub-specialty MRI experience
