About the Role:
This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties, including performing MRI procedures, setting up, scanning, and filming. The position also involves communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients, and their families, and other persons.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures, including setting up, scanning, and filming.
- Communicate with radiologists and other physicians, patients, and their families, and other persons.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a radiographic program approved by the JCERT, the American Registry of Radiological Technologists, or the American College of Radiology.
- Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
- Within 1 year of hire, National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in all areas of diagnostic x-ray.
- Hospital experience.
- 2 years of Sub-specialty MRI.
