An employer is seeking an Oracle Database Engineer to work in a hybrid onsite environment in HITEC City, Hyderabad, India.

This team is responsible for the Sales Compensation Management System, which determines commissions payouts for various sales channels.

The team is moving towards self-service channels for customers, and they want to compensate sales teams based on prior engagements or referrals to self-service flows.

To support this, they are building a framework from data integration to associating relevant data points.

This is an AWS Oracle 19c RDS application, and the team needs strong database design and development experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle ecosystem, creating queries, views, and stored procedures, and running or automating SQL-based queries.

They will also need to be familiar with AWS RDS databases, monitoring, and queues such as Kafka and SQS.

The team will be responsible for design, development, and testing, and the ideal candidate will have experience with development and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test Oracle database solutions
  • Work with data engineers and data architects to increase productivity and achieve high-quality work
  • Develop and maintain Oracle database code
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle database performance

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ecosystem
  • Experience with Oracle database design and development
  • Experience with AWS RDS databases and monitoring
  • Familiarity with queues such as Kafka and SQS
  • Experience with development and testing
