Job SummaryThe Traveling Field Engineer will provide technical support to our project managers and superintendents, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance to project managers and superintendents on construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of project progress, including site reports, photographs, and videos.
- Assist in the coordination of materials and equipment deliveries.
- Participate in company training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam.
- OSHA 30 Hour or OSHA 510 certification.
- MSHA Part 48 Certification.
- ACI Grade 1 Technician certification.
- Fundamentals Concrete Course certification.
- Welding Course certification.
- High Strength Bolting Course certification.
- Excavation Competent Person certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Confined Space Competent Person certification.
- Crosby Rigging certification.
