Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Philips. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and solutions to our customers in the Northern NJ region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical recommendations to customers to ensure the effective implementation of complex solutions.
  • Support the transition from a break-fix operating model to a customer solutions-focused operating model.
  • Drive continuous improvement of implementation methodology and service offerings.
  • Actively participate as a member of the regional work team, collaborating with internal and external resources to achieve customer loyalty.
  • Coordinate project resources and tasks to enable team members to focus on customer deliverables.
  • Perform administrative duties within established regulatory requirements and timeframes.
  • Install complex systems comprised of IT infrastructure and patient monitoring equipment in clinical and non-clinical environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve electronic, networking, and mechanical problems.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of professional working experience in the IT technologies or electronics industry.
  • Experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators highly preferred.
  • Network configuration and/or troubleshooting experience, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification (or required to obtain within 4 months from beginning of employment).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical, or other related disciplines or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Hourly pay range: $34.30 to $58.80, plus overtime eligible.
