MRI Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at The Woman's Hospital of Texas. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Review and complete patient paperwork, including exam, scheduling, and physician orders.
- Transport patients to and from their rooms and ER.
- Monitor equipment for mechanical safety.
- Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
- Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices for optimal views.
- Work collaboratively with the Diagnostic Imaging Department to meet patient needs.
- Graduate of an accredited program for Technologist.
- MRI registry required within 6 months from date of hire for MRI registry-eligible candidates.
- Three to five years of previous MR experience preferred.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
