Job Title: MRI Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at The Woman's Hospital of Texas. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist PRN will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures. This includes reviewing and completing patient paperwork, transporting patients to and from their rooms and ER, and monitoring equipment for mechanical safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians in performing MRI procedures
  • Review and complete patient paperwork, including exam, scheduling, physician orders, department logs, imaging records, consents, medical records, and patient charges
  • Transport patients to and from their rooms and ER
  • Monitor equipment for mechanical safety
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Technologist is required
  • MRI registry is required within 6 months from date of hire for MRI registry-eligible candidates
  • Experience with women's health and neonatal patients a plus
  • Experience with Philips equipment
