Transplant Infectious Diseases Career Development Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Transplant Infectious Diseases Career Development Position at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
About the PositionThis is a one-year clinical (non-ACGME accredited) career development position in Transplant Infectious Diseases during the academic year. The successful candidate will have completed at least two years of an ACGME-accredited Infectious Diseases fellowship program, be board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases, and have a California medical license or be CA license-eligible.
Responsibilities- Work on the inpatient Transplant ID services for approximately 8 months, including approximately 1 weekend per month of coverage and working over one major holiday.
- Participate in 3 months of elective time designed to complement your ID training and provide time for pursuit of scholarly activities.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows who may be rotating during general ID service.
- An M.D. or D.O. is required.
- Must have completed at least two years of an ACGME-accredited Infectious Diseases fellowship program.
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases.
- Must have a California medical license or be CA license-eligible.
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The salary for this position is $100,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
