Physician-Scientist Position in Infectious Diseases

The Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA seeks a physician-scientist for a full-time position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor ranks commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a research program with a focus on translational research in infectious diseases processes.
- Contribute to the department's clinical excellence through patient care and teaching.
- Engage in collaborative research with UCLA scientists in various disciplines.
- MD or MD/PhD degree.
- Board certification in Infectious Diseases.
- California medical license or eligibility.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring students from diverse backgrounds.
- Current research focus on translational research in infectious diseases processes.
- Priority areas of interest include transplantation-related issues, virology, bacterial resistance, mycology, emerging infectious diseases, or tuberculosis.
