Job Summary

Florida Orthopedics & Neurosurgery LLC is seeking a skilled Behavioral Therapist to provide compassionate care to patients dealing with chronic pain, injury recovery, or mental health concerns. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside medical professionals to deliver comprehensive and personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual therapy sessions to patients, developing and implementing customized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address both physical and psychological aspects of patient care.
  • Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote positive behavioral changes and enhance emotional well-being.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on coping strategies, pain management techniques, and healthy lifestyle changes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient sessions and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Psychologist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care.
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of diverse populations.
