Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software applications and systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, security, and quality standards.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Help identify and define software development tools that simplify development efforts and improve productivity.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of progressive commercial software development experience.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, C#, Python, JavaScript).
  • Experience with web development technologies such as HTML/CSS and JavaScript, and web frameworks such as React, Vue.JS, .NET Core, and Node.js.
  • Experience with automation test case and infrastructure development.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to work well in a team of skilled software professionals with the ability to build consensus for new practices and technologies.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and discern their relevancies, applicability, and usefulness to Minitab.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and solve moderate to complex technical problems.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.

This position is required to be onsite in State College, PA, and may be eligible for Hybrid after onboarding is completed. Minitab does not cover the cost of relocation fees.
