We are seeking a skilled CDL A Haulage Specialist to join our team at Core Mark, located in Cumberland, Maryland. As a CDL A Haulage Specialist, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to customers across the country.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

To qualify for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid CDL A license, and 6 months of commercial driving experience. Additionally, you must be able to lift and move product cases weighing up to 90 pounds throughout your shift.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering products to customers in a timely and safe manner
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks on vehicles, including inspections of the tractor, trailer, and cargo
  • Load and unload products from trailers, using equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates as needed
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel usage, and other relevant data
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve driving skills and knowledge
