Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Architectural Designer II to contribute to the success of our projects. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for taking projects from conception to completion, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Participate in day-to-day project management, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide solutions.
- Communication: Coordinate effectively with engineering and design consultants, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Design and Documentation: Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and other documentation for contractors and permit agencies.
- Permitting and Compliance: Process projects through various jurisdictions, acquiring necessary permits and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Project Coordination: Compile project specifications, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain project records.
- Support and Administration: Provide support for tasks required for project completion, including running errands, ordering office supplies, and maintaining office organization.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience at an architecture firm.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, strong interest in modern and contemporary architecture, ability to multi-task, and reliable transportation.
- Passion for Design: Desire to produce meaningful work and passion for design.
- Teamwork: Ability to be open-minded, take in different ideas, and encourage teamwork.
- Continuous Learning: Desire to constantly self-educate and be hands-on.
- Creative Solutions: Ability to bring creative solutions to our design work.
- Experience: Experience working on high-end residential architecture, hotel and hospitality, and interior architecture.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Sketchup & Enscape.
