The Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) is seeking a bold, forward-thinking, and creative leader to serve as its next Director/CEO. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, this transformational administrator, educator, and champion of the institution will stimulate a broad dialogue and discourse around architecture, design, experimentation, and creative thought and expression.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Develop a clear strategic plan for enrollment that anticipates the evolving landscape of student demographics and emerging industry concerns.
• Build the brand and increase the visibility and recognition of SCI-Arc in local and global networks.
• Optimize financial resources and build a sustainable business model.
• Foster an inspiring and inclusive culture across the school community.
**Ideal Candidate**
The ideal candidate will possess a deep love for architectural thinking, a commitment to pluralism of ideas and practices, and experience as both an educator and creative practitioner. They will also have the financial acumen to ensure a sustainable future for SCI-Arc built on educational excellence, innovation, and financial stability.
