    • Contribute to the development and revision of the Dental Assistant program's curriculum.
    • Participate in program assessments and evaluations to ensure the program's effectiveness.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in dental assisting education.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Experience
    • Three (3) years of experience working as a Registered Dental Assistant
    • One (1) year of experience teaching or training other dental assistants
  • Licensure
    • Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and supervisors
    • Knowledge of current principles and practices of teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education
    • Associate's (or higher) degree
  • Experience
    • Three (3) years of experience teaching or training
  • Certifications
    • CPR Instructor certified
