Dental Assistant

Crowfield Dental is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience throughout their dental journey.
• Conduct thorough reviews of patients' health histories to provide personalized care.
• Take and process x-rays, utilizing advanced technology such as iTero 3D scanners and digital photography.
• Provide expert chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping, ensuring seamless office workflow.
• Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols, following OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory levels, expediting orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office efficiency.

Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
