{"Job Title": "School Psychologist - Districtwide Position", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at Chelsea Public Schools. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic and social-emotional needs of our students.

Responsibilities:

* Perform psychological assessments and present findings in an oral and written format
* Provide individual and group therapy to designated special needs students
* Provide crisis intervention and support
* Screen referrals in conjunction with other designated school personnel
* Participate in the prereferral process as needed
* Consult with classroom teachers regarding special needs students
* Perform other duties assigned by the District Principal or the Director of Special Education

Qualifications:

* Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education licensure as a School Psychologist
* Experience working with a diverse population
* Licensed as a Psychologist in Massachusetts
* M.Ed. in School Psychology
* Knowledge of integration and inclusive models of instruction, differentiated instruction, and response to intervention
* Ability to perform and interpret psychological evaluations, including projectives
* Knowledge of special education programs and regulations
* Citizenship, residency, or work visa required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bilingual Spanish
* Experience working in a school setting

Terms:

* All teachers are members of the Chelsea Teachers Union (CTU)
* The length of the school day is 6.5 hours, but subject to longer hours for schools with extended day
* The number of school days are 185 days
