Job Title: Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at Health Care Recruiters International. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prescribe, direct, or administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
  • Order, analyze and evaluate patient data or test findings to diagnose nature or extent of mental disorders.
  • Design, execute or approve individualized care plans, using a variety of treatments.
  • Prescribe and monitor medications and other treatments.
  • Complete training and provide treatment using Medication Assisted Therapies (MAT).
  • Gather and maintain patient information and records.
  • Participate in care planning and coordination meetings to facilitate care process as requested.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid board certification in psychiatry.
  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an approved psychiatric residency.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in state of practice.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
  • Excellent knowledge and familiarity with current DSM criteria.
  • Training and experience in providing Medication Assisted Therapies (MAT) preferred.
  • Familiar with crisis assessment tools and techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge of general psychiatric principles and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of PC applications and electronic medical records.
