Role Overview:
As a Commercial Vehicle Operator at TransForce, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of products to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, adhering to designated routes and schedules while ensuring timely deliveries.
- Load and unload products with care, utilizing proper techniques to prevent damage.
- Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to identify any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding inventory and delivery status.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with store personnel.
- Hold a valid CDL-A license and complete all required training.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- CDL-A License is mandatory.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Driving record must comply with company policies.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift and move heavy products, up to 50 pounds, throughout the day.
