Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pet Bather/Groomer Assistant to join our team at Pet's Amore LLC DBA EarthWise Pet. As a key member of our grooming team, you will provide exceptional bathing and grooming services to our furry clients while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch bathing and grooming services to pets, including brushing, bathing, conditioning, teeth cleaning, ear cleaning, anal gland expressions, and nail trims.
  • Ensure the wellness and safety of pets at all times, adhering to our high standards of care and hygiene.
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that promote pet health and happiness.
  • Act as a community outreach liaison to attract new customers to our store.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to our high standards of sanitation and hygiene.
  • Interact with management and coworkers in a professional and supportive manner to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Identify health issues or concerns in pets and inform pet owners and management accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with the Groomer and Salon Manager to ensure accurate and efficient grooming services.
  • Complete and maintain accurate customer information and necessary forms to document pet history.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for pets and staff.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of grooming experience preferred.
  • Positive attitude, passion for pets, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move pets safely.
  • Ability to work in a controlled climate and wear personal protective equipment as needed.
