Job Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial analysis and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial reports
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements, as well as accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with monthly billing and billbacks, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Perform general ledger maintenance, including journal entries and transaction research
  • Participate in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and efficient financial processing

Requirements:

  • Experience with ERP software packages, preferably [insert software name]
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (highly preferred)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients

Compensation: $33 - $37 per hour, depending on experience and education
