Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, manage, and provide support for specialized software applications.
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance systems while troubleshooting application issues and addressing cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
  • Administer M365 and Azure environments, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and SQL databases.
  • Collaborate with users and team members to diagnose and resolve issues within the operational environment.
  • Manage the virtual server landscape, including the administration of host systems, creation and removal of guest servers, and conducting hardware and software upgrades.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain virtual infrastructure, including server virtualization, storage solutions, and networking.
  • Administer Intune and manage mobile devices effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a systems administration role, including support and management of operational software, configuration, implementation, and end-user support.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMWare, AHV, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in Azure administration, including Exchange, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, and security management.
  • Experience with Intune administration, including policy management and application packaging.

Basic scripting abilities are required.

  • In-depth knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and protocols.
  • Self-driven with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to stay updated with industry trends and developments.
  • Demonstrated analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the capacity to prioritize effectively and make informed decisions.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and vendors.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A valid driver's license may be necessary, and candidates may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check.

Physical and Working Conditions:

This role may require occasional physical activity, including positioning objects and operating tools. Frequent use of a computer keyboard is expected, and the employee may need to navigate confined spaces. Regular travel to various job sites may be required, and the employee must be able to communicate effectively in diverse environments.

The working conditions may involve exposure to varying temperatures and environments, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment to ensure safety. Employees may be required to work overtime and on weekends as needed.
