Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Operator to join our team at Harcros Chemicals. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload materials onto or from trucks, tank trucks, and railcars
  • Fills drums, totes, and pails with chemicals, both hazardous and non-hazardous
  • Operate industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products
  • Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas
  • Manage hazardous waste and hazardous waste storage, including responding to spills and incidents
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to operate forklift truck and other mechanical equipment
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. You will be working near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. You will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
