Job Purpose

Assist with the underwriting and strategic management of the firm's investments to maximize portfolio performance, asset values, and investment returns. The role will rotate within the Asset Management and Transactions teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Management
  • Support all day-to-day functions of the asset management team, including monitoring asset performance, lease analyses, and renovation projects.
  • Conduct market research and prepare client reports, including quarterly asset management reports, annual reports, and fund/portfolio review presentations.
  • Assist in updating Argus models and underwriting models to reflect asset performance and changes in the market environment.
  • Monitor ESG objectives of the portfolio and contribute to ad-hoc ESG projects.
Transactions
  • Support day-to-day functions of the transaction team, including assistance with underwriting for potential acquisitions and weekly deal pipeline preparation.
  • Travel to see potential tri-state area acquisitions with team members if necessary.
  • Prepare investment committee meeting minutes.
RequirementsEducation and Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in a related major, with a finance degree a plus, and expected graduation in 2026 or 2027.
  • Demonstrates a strong interest in finance and the asset/investment management industry.
Experience
  • Relevant classwork in finance or commercial real estate a plus.
  • Experience with direct asset management, portfolio management for equity real estate investments a plus.
  • Cross-cultural work experience a plus.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • Spoken and written fluency in English required.
  • Argus skills a plus.

The pay range for this position is $40-$47 per hour, for a duration of 8 weeks. Actual pay will be determined based on the individual's skills, experience, and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues' pay.
