Job Summary

Light & Wonder, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Technology Partner to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our technology strategy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in the development and implementation of the technology strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall objectives.
Drive the execution of key initiatives and projects, ensuring timelines and goals are met.
Monitor progress against goals and provide regular updates to the CTO and other stakeholders.

Operational Management

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of the CTO, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and ensuring follow-ups.
Serve as a point of contact between the CTO and internal/external stakeholders, managing communications and ensuring timely responses.
Oversee budget planning and management for the technology department, working closely with finance and operations teams.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with the technology strategy.
Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives on behalf of the CTO, ensuring successful execution.
Act as a liaison between the technology team and other departments to address challenges, resolve conflicts, and ensure a cohesive approach.

Advisory and Support

Provide the CTO with insights and recommendations on key issues and decisions.
Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials for executive meetings and board presentations.
Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.

Team Leadership and Development

Mentor and guide members of the technology team, helping to develop their skills and careers.
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top talent for the technology department.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and innovative culture within the technology team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5-10 years in a leadership or strategic role, with a focus on technology, operations, or consulting.
Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of technology trends and their impact on business strategy.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and data analysis software.
Proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate the needs of the CTO and the technology team.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
A team player with a collaborative mindset and a positive attitude.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, analyze complex data, and make informed decisions to drive successful project outcomes.
Ability to travel up to 15%
