Job Summary

Doncasters is seeking a skilled X-Ray Level II Technician to join our team at our Groton facility. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for inspecting investment casting film to customer requirements as a certified NAS410 RT Level II.

Key Responsibilities
  • Radiographic inspection of Investment Castings
  • Review x-ray film for acceptance to inspection criteria
  • Develop x-ray techniques for complex casting geometries
  • Assist in training and RT Level I as required
  • Assist in auditing x-ray process to ensure compliance to NADCAP and AS9100

Requirements
  • High school and/or technical school completion
  • 1-3 Years in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic shop math skills
  • Requires ability to pass visual acuity test
  • Ability to pass Level II written and practical tests
  • Ability to complete specialized Radiographic Training 40 hours
  • Complete a total of 1200 hours of O.J.T
  • 2 years' experience as a certified NDT Level I in a manufacturing environment preferred
