Role Summary:
The Facilities Manager will oversee the operational and maintenance services for Visa's expansive campus, ensuring a conducive work environment for approximately 1,300 employees. This role will act as a representative of Visa's Global Corporate Real Estate, collaborating with various levels of management, vendors, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage outsourced engineering teams responsible for maintaining a premier facility, including oversight of essential services such as plumbing, HVAC, pest control, and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local and state regulations while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Serve as the primary contact for safety and security protocols, liaising with local management and security personnel.

Management Duties:
Work autonomously while establishing yourself as a key resource for local management. Develop and maintain maintenance strategies to promote a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring vendor compliance with established plans.

Decision-Making:
Oversee maintenance contracts, ensuring services are delivered as per agreements. Address any issues in collaboration with business leaders, following established protocols.

Financial Oversight:
Assist in the formulation of site budgets and manage expenditures effectively, utilizing established financial processes.

Reporting Structure:
This position reports to the Director of Corporate Real Estate & Facilities, coordinating vendor relations and ensuring a secure working environment.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in facilities management processes and vendor contract interpretation.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Technical aptitude in mechanical systems and facility operations.

This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring a balance of remote and in-office work as determined by business needs.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred candidates will have additional years of experience or advanced degrees.

Additional Information:
This role may involve occasional travel and requires the ability to work in an office environment.
