As a Senior Associate in Hedge/PE Fund Accounting, you will engage in a diverse range of financial and accounting activities that impact our Global Hedge Fund clientele. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily reconciliation of cash balances, investment positions, and market valuations.
  • Processing of trades and liaising with auditors and tax preparers.
  • Reviewing accruals and expense items.
  • Gathering and processing corporate actions.
  • Validating corporate actions and significant price changes with independent sources.
  • Calculating and recording fees.
  • Interacting with investment managers and prime brokers to resolve inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Conducting analytical reviews of daily and monthly results.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics.
  • Master's Degree, CPA, or CFA are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting or financial services; experience with hedge funds is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
