Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment. This includes repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of machinery, blow mold, conveyor systems, plant support equipment, case packers, box makers, stretch wrappers, and palletizers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Abide by all company safety and quality policies and procedures.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with hand tools and maintenance practices.
  • Must be experienced in functioning of hydraulics and pneumatic circuits.
  • Troubleshoots hydraulic and pneumatic circuits with the aid of schematics.
  • Repair electric circuits with complete understanding of electrical schematic diagrams.
  • Must be able to do preventative maintenance on all production equipment in a timely manner.
  • Must follow all safety practices. Possess ability to instruct other maintenance staff and production operators in safe operation of equipment.
  • Must own general mechanics tools.
Requirements:
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Some post-secondary education preferred (i.e. Technical or vocational education).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
