As a Maintenance Mechanic Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals, gaining invaluable skills and experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, dismantling, and cleaning of parts, overhead hoists, and conveyor belts.
- Demonstrate general fabrication skills including welding, torch operations, and following simple blueprints.
- Read and understand blueprints and wiring diagrams for diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems.
- Disassemble and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures, performing necessary repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use approved safety equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on production machinery to minimize downtime.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Prior experience in an industrial or production setting is a plus.
- Competitive hourly rate of $21.10/hr.
- Weekly bonuses after 30 days of employment.
- A comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, and life insurance.
- Annual compensation reviews.
