Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist with Piedmont HealthCare, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy services to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate patients, establish treatment goals, and implement effective treatment plans. You will also be responsible for educating patients, family members, and other medical personnel on the importance of occupational therapy. Additionally, you will be required to maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to identify their occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient goals.
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including modalities and treatments.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
Experience: New graduates of occupational therapy programs are eligible to apply.
Certification: Current Georgia license as an occupational therapist. BLS through AHA is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
