Construction Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at HDR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing construction inspections, material testing, and documentation, as well as enforcing construction plans and specifications.

• Perform field inspections and material testing to ensure compliance with construction plans and specifications
• Document and report inspection results and any discrepancies or conflicts
• Enforce construction plans and specifications, and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• NY State Thruway Authority or NY State Department of Transportation experience
• NICET Highway / Bridge Construction Certification, Level II (or NICET II equivalent)
• Technical school or Associate degree
