Job Summary

Raytheon is seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Engineer to join our team in Aurora, CO. As a member of our Operations and Maintenance (O&M) program, you will be responsible for supporting 24/7 operations of a critical system. This role requires a comprehensive 20-week training course, providing knowledge of a complex operational system. Upon completion, you will perform 12-hour shifts and complete an on-the-job checklist to earn your System Controller (SC) certification.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement products and CONOPS for the 24/7 operation of a mission-critical system.
  • Troubleshoot real-world operations issues and maintain systems operational state, ensuring health and safety while maximizing availability.
  • Review and develop standard operating procedures for standard events and anomaly recoveries.
  • Develop scripts and products to automate complex system operations.
  • Develop suites of operational products for newly delivered systems.
Requirements
  • Active and in-scope U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with C.I. polygraph.
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Linux and basic scripting languages such as Perl or Matlab.
  • Ability to complete necessary trainings to perform the job.
  • Ability to work within a multi-contractor team environment.
  • Ability to travel on occasion (2-3 times a year).
