Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Multi-Site Manager to oversee the operations of our 4 Vibrantz Texas sites. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing manufacturing strategies to achieve cost reductions and productivity gains while operating in a demanding customer environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and profitability
  • Manage budgets, monitor and control expenses to achieve financial targets
  • Coordinate with supply chain and commercial teams to manage inventory levels to support production while minimizing excess stock
  • Optimize capital expenditures to sustain operations, drive safety, value, and delivery of growth products
  • Deliver operational excellence through optimizing capacities, total cost-effectiveness, and value to the customer base
  • Ensure operational plans achieve targeted cost and efficiency results that maximize value for the business unit
  • Promote structured continuous improvement utilizing methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
  • Ensure adequate people development plans and capable succession plans are in place
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives to increase employee satisfaction
  • Manage productivity and efficiencies using metrics and continuous improvement protocol

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of chemicals or materials industry experience in a manufacturing leadership position and 5+ years in a multisite role
  • Demonstrated success and experience in developing and executing manufacturing strategies and optimizing operations to achieve cost reductions and productivity gains while operating in a demanding customer environment
  • Experience conducting performance evaluations to maximize team effectiveness (SMART goals, good communication, reviews, training, and development)
  • Experience participating with HR in other team processes such as selection, promotion, or compensation
  • Strong knowledge of computers, inventory systems, quality systems, OSHA and EPA requirements, and ERP
  • P&L responsibility experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Experience in sites that are ISO 9000/NSF certified

Travel:

  • 100% travel throughout the Houston area
