Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity

Atlanta Heart Specialists is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Tucker, GA. As a key member of our cardiology practice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations using nuclear medicine procedures and equipment.
  • Monitor patient vitals during testing and administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including gamma cameras and stress systems, to capture accurate diagnostic images.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedure details, and radiation dosage.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze imaging results.
Requirements:
  • A graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, registered with the ARRT or NMTCB, or eligible for certification.
  • BLS and/or ACLS certification.
