We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist II to join our team at General Dynamics Ordnance & Tactical Systems. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct quality control inspections on products, materials, and components to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards.
- Capture and analyze statistical data from processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement new or enhanced methods, procedures, and standards to improve quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
- Document and maintain accurate records of quality control activities and results.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
