At Prosperity Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating and underwriting new loans for consumer mortgage loans.
Key Responsibilities:- Interview and process loan requests, discussing loan alternatives, credit criteria, interest rates, and loan documentation with customers.
- Analyze and evaluate loan requests, preparing written submissions for consideration by approving authority.
- Complete lending functions in accordance with established Bank policies and legal requirements.
- Establish and maintain effective business relations with customers and trade professionals.
- Assist Mortgage Processor personnel and provide support as needed.
- High school graduate, advance degree preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of consumer and consumer mortgage lending experience.
- NMLS certified.
- Excellent communication and public relations skills.
- Financial analytical skills.
- Solid interviewing skills.
